Secrets to Dog Training – Become The Pack Leader ! Learn By Video-It's Easy

pet pain relieve

As she grows older, she still needs lots of love and patience. And just like the rest of us, she needs extra nutritional support and even help with arthritis pain as her joints become inflamed and worn in her golden years.

Of course, dogs can’t come right out and say “I’m hurting right here.” But we know by watching their gradual transition from leaping across the yard chasing a thrown ball to gingerly taking the stairs just to get off the porch that their hips, knees, and other joints ache increasingly over the years.

Fortunately, dogs can benefit from many of the same arthritis pain relief and joint support supplements humans take. They just need a dose scaled to their size.

Become The Pack Leader Your Dog Wants You To Be

A well trainined dog, big or small, is a friend for life

Of all the possible questions the one that most people will ask is … “how can I become the pack leader”. That is the big question. And, I think before Cesar Millan, we never really even heard of a pack leader! And what does the question really mean? It means “How can I let my dog know that I am in charge”. The pack leader is the decision maker – like, where you should go on the walk (although tthere are times when my dog knows where to go) or, how to behave both inside and outside. And, the pack leader decides how to behave when people come over.

When you understand the basic behaviour of the pack, you will understand the role of the leader.

Did you know that your dog doesn’t care in the least:

- what car you drive,
- the size of your house,
- th
e money you earn or
- the fact that you speak languages!

Your dog would happily swap all of that for a nice snack! Or a nice walk. Or a nice “play ball”.

And – demanding, bullying, or dominating your dog is absolutely not the way to become the pack leader. Nope, in fact, you would be teaching your dog by “fear”, AND not by leadership. Being a pack leader does not mean being a bully. Pack leaders have earned the respect of the pack.

The Playful and Versatile Dog: Wheaten Terrier

Like most terriers, the Wheaten terriers, or simply called as Wheatens, were originally bred as hunters. Therefore, their physique naturally evolved as strong and healthy. Among the activities that molded their instincts and physical features were herding cattle and sheep, vermin terminators, hunting both in water and on land, and serving as watch dogs that deterred trespassers. Read More…

Traveling With Your Golden Retriever

Golden Retrievers love to be included in family activities, which includes take rides in the car and traveling. They love attention, and love for you to treat them just like they are a member of your family. When you first get your Golden Retriever puppy, you?ll have to teach him how to enjoy car rides and traveling, so he can come to appreciate it more as he gets older.

When you decide to take him traveling for the first time, you should always give him food in small amounts throughout the day, while he adjusts to traveling. If you feed him a lot of food before you head out, he may get sick in the car and have an accident. By reducing the amount of food that he consumes, he?ll be much more in control of his bladder and himself. Read More…

Training Your Golden Retriever

Dogs aren?t like humans, so they need to learn in different ways. Dogs don?t have human responses, meaning that they don?t operate with the principle of right or wrong. Instead, they operate on a principle of response, guided by the actions you give them. If their actions lead to a bad response from you, then they not that what they are doing is wrong and will avoid doing that type of behavior.

If your dog does something right, he should be praised for it. If your Golden Retriever is listening to what you say and doing well, you should reward him with a treat or praise. Letting him know that he is doing good leads to positive response. On the other hand, if he isn?t listening to you or doing the total opposite of what you say, you shouldn?t reward him at all – but instead scold him with a stern NO. Read More…

Information about Welsh Terrier Dogs

Welsh terrier dogs were originally bred as hunting dogs. However, this native breed of Wales soon rose to become show dogs. Breeders attempted to outdo each other by developing the Welsh terrier dogs’ wiry coats and coloration. You might think that this characteristic would make it one of the more boring terriers. In fact, even the most die-hard terrier fan can have fun with this breed. This is because of the fact that Welsh terrier dogs love to play. This makes the Welsh terrier dog a great companion. Read More…
